TMCA General Assembly & Swearing–in Ceremony

for the New Office Bearers (2010-2011)

Tamilnadu Muslim Cultural Association's General Body meeting was held on Friday 19.03.2010, 6:30 P.M at Kuwait Teachers Society, Dasma , Kuwait .

The General Assembly began with holy verses recitation and its translation by Master Alwany Abrar Sharief. Br.Kambali Basheer and Br. Zahiruddin (Custodians) swanned the solicitation for the chair to preside over the notable swearing in ceremony followed by the general assembly 2010. The entire grand event was chaired by Brother Lucky Sulaiman Batcha (Hon' Advisor and Chief Election Commissioner - TMCA). Br. Muneer Ahmed hosted the whole program within the prescribed time. Br. M.I. Sowkath Ali (Vice President) welcomed everyone during his welcome address. Moulavi Prof. Abdul Salam Dawoodi (Secretary – Religious Wing) and Moulavi Nasar Sadik Rabbani (Advisor – TMCA) delivered the opening addresses. Br. N.A.M Abdul Aleem (General Secretary TMCA) presented the Annual activity report (2008-2009). Br. Karaikal S.M Arif Maricar (Treasurer) presented the Financial Report (2008-2009) which had been audited by Br. S.M Abdul Kadir (Hon' Auditor – TMCA).

The Swearing-In Ceremony started after the break for Isha Prayer. The following dignitaries administered the oath of offices for the five EC Members.

Br. Hidayathullah (Vice President) submitted the proposed CC members. The Special Guest Br. Siddique Vilayakath (President FIMA) delivered a wonderful felicitation address that he congratulated the team and appreciated the TMCA's continuous efforts towards the welfare of community. Mr. R. Mohamed Farook, (Ex. President – TMCA) and Mr. MAJ Mohamed Iqbal (Ex. President – TMCA) delivered the felicitation addresses. Br. Arif Maricar (Ex- Treasurer) handed over the audited account and the closing balance to New Treasurer Br. H. Jahir Husain accordingly.

Br. N.A.M. Abdul Aleem ( President – TMCA) delivered the acceptance speech and Br. Avoor Basheer (General Secretary – TMCA) delivered the Vote of Thanks. The program concluded at 9:30 p.m with invocation and dinner Alhamdullah..
