TMCA arranged Blood Donation Camp
in honour of Kuwait  National and Liberation Days



Tamilnadu Muslim Cultural Association (TMCA), Kuwait, one of the biggest and oldest Indian associations in Kuwait (since 1995) duly registered with the Embassy of India, serving the most needy people at large irrespective of caste, color, creed etc. arranged a special Blood Donation Camp honouring the auspicious occasions of Kuwait’s 53rd National Day and 23rd Liberation Day on Tuesday, the 25th February 2014 from 08.00 a.m. till 01.00 p.m at Central Blood Bank, Jabriya,

Tamilnadu Muslim Cultural Association (TMCA) and its members, especially its Co-ordination Council under the guidance of its Executive body, dedicated themselves volunteering Camp activities and most notably, members of other brotherly Associations extended their support with enthusiasm honouring the occasions.

The donors started to donate blood since 08:30 a.m. The official inauguration program commenced at 10:00 a.m. sharply. Peruvalanallur Mr. Hidayathullah, former Vice-President initiated the program and staged the maestro in administering the whole ceremony. At the outset, the holy verses recited by Mstr. Thalib Rahman. Mr. Saguber Ali, General Secretry welcomed all guests, blood donors, members and others while Mr. Avoor Basheer Ahamed, former President spoke briefly highlighting TMCA’s innumerable activities with our collective vision of taking TMCA to the forefront and as a good model.

His Excellency, Shri. Sunil Jain, Indian Ambassador to Kuwait graced this event as our Chief Guest.  He appreciated TMCA’s efforts in organizing such Camp underlining besides hardly working for our living, donating our Blood too is really a remarkable achievement from the members of our community.  

A prominent Kuwaiti brother felicitated the event expressing his happiness to note that non-Kuwaiti social body is organizing such noble activity honouring important occasions of Kuwait. Dr. Amir Ahamed, President, Indian Doctors Forum (IDF) re-called with appreciation his association with our TMCA as one of the sincere social organizations and its promptness in under-taking each and every activity. Mr. Iftikar Ahamed, Vice-President, Federation of Indian Muslim Associations (FIMA) who is a first visitor in Office to the Camp, expressed his joy over the dedication of its members in organizing such a great event.  Mr. Sharfuddeen Kanneth, President, Kuwait Kerala Muslim Cultural Center (KKMCC), largest and oldest Indian Associations and Director of Non-Resident Keralites Welfare Board, our supporter and well-wisher felicitated the event admiring TMCA’s philanthropic activities and re-calling KKMCC’s close association with TMCA since its inception till todate at the social front. Dr. Rania representing Jabriya Blood Bank gave brief felicitation address commending our activities.

A special momento has been presented to Madam. Hind to receive on behalf of Jabriya Central Blood Bank Administration as a token of Thanks and Appreciation, on behalf of TMCA for providing an opportunity to be of service here on this day. Blood Bank distributed special gifts to Donors appreciating their gesture.  Our Guests, on behalf of TMCA, presented Certificate of Appreciation to first few Donors.

TMCA Founders and Guardian Council consists of Mohamed Bunder, Janab. R. Mohamed Farook, Ayyampettai ‘Kambali’ Janab. A Mohamed Basheer, Podakkudi, Janab. M.A.J. Mohamed Iqbal, Thammampatti, Janab. Al-Mass Musthafa and Sholapuram Janab. I. Zahiruddin and heads and representatives of various brotherly Associations were present gracing this event. As asked to limit citing short of service staff, we curtailed to 120 donors to made it as a remarkable one donating blood expressing their humanitarian spirit.  Mannachanallur, Mr. Abdul Jaleel, Co-ordinator, who is on the stage for the first time, on behalf of TMCA conveyed his Vote of Thanks to each and everyone present and to all sponsors for their notable contribution and a Certificate of Appreciation had been presented to all Donors acknowledging their participation and support to TMCA’s noble cause.
