Al Thaalib Scholarship is a financial aid scheme for the under privileged students studying in various Indian, Pakistani and Philippine Schools in Kuwait. For the last seven years more than 4000 students have benefited from this scholarship and in the last academic year (2008) alone,  803 students from different schools have already availed this scheme. These scholarships were given to the needy students irrespective of their religion or nationality.

Al Thaalib Scholarship is sponsored by Islam Presentation Committee (IPC) and Ministry of Awqaf in association with Friday Forum and Pakistan Kuwait Welfare Association.  IPC believes seeking of knowledge as vital and ethically essential for the development of a human being.  It is unfortunate that there are many students, who are financially deprived  and unable to get proper education.
